Anthony Sweeney MVB
Anthony is the principal of the practice . He has worked at Inishfree since graduation from UCD in 1989. He has a broad range of experience in both small animal and farm animal practice. Anthony has two pets , Freya a nine year old English Springer Spaniel who is still very boisterous, and Portia a two year old cat who loves hunting and sleeping .
Brendan Leahy MVB MRCVS
A founder member of Inishfree Veterinary Hospital, Brendan has worked in Sligo since 1978. A pioneer of small animal veterinary medicine in the North West, he has driven forward a continual improvement in services and facilities at Inishfree. A proud Limerick man, he is a committed Munster Rugby supporter.
Ellen Callaghan MVB
Ellen graduated from UCD in 2017 and commenced working at Inishfree .She has a real passion for the business and is a very dedicated veterinarian.
Katy McAleenan MVB
Katy is from Sligo and joined the team in January 2018. She has worked in Sligo since she graduated in 2013 and has experience in small animal , large animal and equine practice. Katy is a very commited veterinary surgeon.
